Give a helping hand to Iowa flood victims

Fairfield Line, although not located in the actual flood area, is affected as a result of this disaster . Many of our customer’s businesses are completely gone. We have a calling campaign here to assist flood victims -which we’d like to enlist the Chamber’s help with. We are taking donations and converting them to glove orders ($150 can translate to as many as 200 pairs of gloves) for clean up. We are boxing these, including a letter giving a heartfelt message from the specific contributing business. We are using all available staff to get this project out the door.

So far we have participation from Agri Plastics, Foss,Kuiken,Gookin, Libertyville Bank, Vintage Power Wagon, Finney Industrial, Smithburg Amoco, Jet Stop, ERA Realty, MidWestOne Bank, Danaher Oil, Nelson Co, Hy-Vee, Hy-Vee Drug, JCH, Bob’s Automotive, Hawethorne Direct and Line X. If donors have family, branch locations or specifics as to where they want their gloves to go we will be happy to accommodate. Please provide this information (where you want the gloves sent/delivered) and Malinda will see that it happens.
